Week Beginning 31st January 2022

Year 1 Remote Learning wk beginning 31st January 2022

Hi Year 1,

Here is your remote learning for this week if you are isolating - remember, you don't have to complete any work at home if you feel poorly! Make sure your grown ups let the school office know if you are isolating. Mrs Large will check in with them via e-mail as soon as possible to check you are all ok, and to help you with your remote learning if needs be.

If you follow this link it will take you to a padlet containing most your work. (You may prefer to finish the work on last week’s padlet first if you have already been isolating for a few days – that’s absolutely fine):

(The same padlet was used at this time last year, so please just ignore any old comments etc - but feel free to add your own! Also, it was Children’s mental health week this time last year and so there are resources related to that on the padlet. It doesn’t coincide exactly this year, but the resources are fabulous so I have left them on for you.)

The maths on the padlet is great and you are welcome to complete it, but it doesn’t quite match up to what your class are doing at the moment. See below for some revision of concepts you covered in class last week for maths.

Follow the links for some information and activities:

Counting in twos:

Counting in fives:

If you want a challenge, you could try counting back in 5s too:

Here are some more lessons based on counting, and numbers to 50/20:

Have a go at some of the video lessons on this link (you definitely don’t need to do more than one a day):

If that’s too tricky, try some of these lessons based on numbers 0-20:

The Three Little Pigs

If a grown up at home feels well enough, ask them to read you this story:

If not, you can watch and listen to the story here:

Remember, there are lots more great remote learning resources on the school website here:
