Playlist for peace

The week beginning 15th January is our Pray for Peace week. It is important to fight for peace in the world, but we cannot make that happen if we do not find peace within ourselves.

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”—Gautama Buddha, founding figure of Buddhism.

To find peace within yourself some people find a quiet, safe space. Others like to go out into nature and breathe in the wonder of the world. For some, looking at beautiful art and pictures or creating art can take take them to a calm space. Many people find that music can calm them and help them to reflect.

If you enjoy listening to music to help you find peace within yourself, here is a playlist. We have put together a range of music and you need to try them out to see what works for you. If you have any other suggestions, let Mrs Hedges know and she will add them to the list.
