We are excited to announce that we have introduced a programme to all year groups at school called myHappymind. myHappymind is all based around helping children to understand how their brain works and to support them in developing positive skills and habits to be their very best selves!
myHappymind is delivered in schools by class teachers through a series of interactive lessons and then the children apply these learnings throughout the day.
To tell you more about this wonderful new programme, we would like to invite you to a parent workshop in the hall on Monday 16th September at 2:30pm.

Year 3 – Dinner choices Autumn Term 2024
As your child has moved up to Year 3 this September, they will no longer be able to have the free universal school meal every day that the government only funds for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
Every term your child has the choice to change whether they want school dinners, packed lunch or to go home and cannot be changed until the start of a new term.
Please let us know what your child’s choice is by Thursday 5th September 2024, so that you are accurately charged if your child chooses to have a school meal to avoid food being wasted.
Payment of Dinners are as follows for the Autumn Term 2024
£2.60 Daily
£13.00 Weekly
£98.80 Half Term (up to 25th October 2024)
£91.00 Half Term (up to 20th December 2024)
£198.80 Full Autumn Term (up to 20th December 2024).
Dinner money needs to be paid via Arbor, once set up from Thursday 5th September you can pay, ideally dinner money should be paid in advance and not in arrears.
If you wish to check if your child could be entitled to free school meals, please do this using this link https://www.cloudforedu.org.uk/ofsm/birmingham. This usually applies to those families on low income and who claim benefits. If you have given the office your national insurance details then we will check this on a continuous basis and inform you if there is any change.
Current Year 3 from September 2024 – Free School Meal Entitlement
As your child has moved up to year 3 this September and due to your current circumstance with regards to income and or benefits, our records show that they are entitled to free school meals.
We will assume that they are going to have a school meal at school for this Autumn Term and therefore there will be no charge due. However, if for any reason your child does not wish to have a meal at school, please notify us by Thursday 5th September 2024 via email or telephone (you can leave a message on our answer phone) to enable us to correct our records to state they are having a packed lunch or going home for dinner and thus food will not be wasted.
