Lang Lang is a Chinese pianist who has performed with major orchestras around the world and appeared at many leading concert halls. He is a very famous performer.
He can also be seen as a judge on the Channel 4 show ‘The Piano’.
Eschenbach is a conductor and pianist. He is much older than Lang Lang and is seen as a mentor to him. Lang Lang says of the older musicians that he looks up to ‘They are not only my teachers but also close friends, and they teach me a lot about life’.
