Edward Christopher Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. He started his musical life by singing in the church choir at 4 and then learning the guitar at 11 (which is when he started writing his own songs). He has now sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists.
He has collaborated with lots of different artists and genres of music. One of these is Yebba (this is the nickname her mum gave her – it is her name ‘Abbey’ said backwards). Ed Sheeran now has his own record label and signs up promising new artists that he has discovered. He signed Yebba in 2017. When he heard her sing her first song it made his cry showing what a powerful singer she is.
