This is a sacred wall hanging which is called a ‘thangka’. Thangka translates as ‘recorded message’. The Dalai Lama, who is the highest spiritual leader of the Tibetan Buddhists gave it as a gift to the World Community for Christian Meditation.
Can you see what the angel is playing? It is a Himalayan 6-stringed lute called a dramnyen.
