Children from St John's have taken part in the Royal Mail Stamp competition to honour the heroes of the pandemic. The design brief was for children to think about who their hero or heroes have been, and to then design a stamp in their honour. A special panel of judges will pick the winning designs which will be announced after 30th September. The final eight stamps will be sent to Her Majesty The Queen before they can be printed and issued.
Here are the entries from our children which range from family members, friends and NHS workers to celebrities and individuals who have touched the heart of people nationwide. At St John's we are so proud to see our children showing the value of thankfulness when honouring these heroes through their impressive designs.
