Working together: Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson
Mark Daniel Ronson (born 4 September 1975) is a British-American DJ, songwriter, record producer, and record executive. He is most famous for his collaborations with other artists – you might know him from his song with Bruno Mars called ‘Uptown Funk’.
Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011) was an English singer and songwriter. She was known for her deep, expressive vocals and the way she could mix different musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues and jazz.
In 2006, Amy released the album ‘Back to Black’ The songs on it which were produced by Ronson were some of her biggest hits. On the album they managed to blend the feel of 1960s pop with modern R&B and soul. Here are two of the songs: 'Valerie' and an acoustic version of 'Love is a losing game'.
