Joe Boston, professionally known as stage name Shallou, is a Los Angeles–based singer, producer, and environmentalist, who produces dreamy chilled out melodies with soulful vocals. This style of music would be described as electronic. Sometimes the word 'ambient' is used to describe it. Ambient music is usually instrumental and is music which focuses on texture, tone, mood and atmosphere. It doesn't have the clear beat and rhythms that you find in other styles of music.
As we look at new beginnings, this music asks you to look at your life to see if everything is alright.
This week is also our week of 'Prayer for Peace'. Ambient music can be the perfect way to get our minds into a peaceful place.
