2D shapes
2D rabbit shape activity (cutting)
Children cut out the 2 dimensional (2D) shapes to make a bunny. Talk to the children about:
- shape names (e.g oval ,rectangle)
- number of sides / corners
- type of sides (curved or straight).
- size of shapes (big, bigger, biggest; small, smaller, smallest).
You could extend this activity by:
- Making a different animal together
- Using the animal in imaginative role play.
