Resources for Supporting Children with SEND

Specific resources for supporting children with SEND:

 

Children with SEND are statistically more at risk online. Here are some resources specifically designed to help them enjoy the online world safely. Please always come and speak to us in school if you have any concerns.

 

  • Net Aware SEND Online Safety Hub  A great resource with activities specifically designed for children with autism, and useful visual articles with photo symbols relating to online communication and cyberbullying. 

 

  • Internet Matters SEND  A series of really helpful guides specifically aimed at children with a range of needs, with a handy video explaining how to make the most of the guides. 

 

  • Childnet SEND . Helpful advice for parents of children with SEND about how to approach online safety conversations with your child. Resources are helpfully split into three sections: content, contact and conduct.
