Enya - Lord of the rings soundtrack
Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin (1961), known as Enya, is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. She is known for her modern Celtic music. Here are two songs that she wrote for the Lord of the rings soundtrack. They are sung in English and in two fictional languages which Tolkien made up.
Led Zepplin - Ramble On
Ramble On is a song written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. The song was inspired by JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series and tells the story of Sam and Frodo’s journey as if it was a girl they were obsessed with rather than the infamous ring: “Twas in the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair, but Gollum and the evil one, crept up and slipped away with her.”
Many of their other songs are inspired by Lord of the Rings (such as Stairway to Heaven) and Robert even named his dog Strider after the character Aragorn, who is also referred to by this name.
