Sara Beth Bareilles born December 7, 1979 is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author, and producer.
I found this song when I was looking for songs with inspirational lyrics. When I saw the video to this and listened to the words I thought it was an incredible song. I didn't really know the singer so I started looking at all of her live performances on YouTube and realised how amazing she is. Also, if you look back at last week, there is a video of her doing a cover (this means singing your own version of a well known song) of Carole King's 'You've got a friend. Carole is in the audience and even she is impressed. This song is an original and has been written by Sara. Here are the lyrics (words):
