This week, we are learning about homophones. Homophones are words that sound the same, but have different meanings and spellings.
Look at the video about homophones: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zqhpk2p/articles/zc84cwx
Can you complete the quiz underneath the video?
Task: Can you choose 3 of the words you see in the video and write a sentence? Draw a picture underneath the homophone to show what it means e.g.
I like to visit the sea because it is so much fun!
Log onto reading planet, read a book and do the quiz.

History and Geography
We begin our new topic for this term: Does Chocolate Grow on Trees! We will be researching the history or chocolate and looking at where in the world it came from! We will also be looking at our own legacy of chocolate of Cadburys in Birmingham.
Have a look at our History and Geography Knowledge Organiser! It gives lots of interesting facts. You can use this to help you as we become expert researchers!
Have a look at the homework task for this term. Why not try a task today? Remember that we will be checking and responding to you on JIT5 or via email.
This term we will look at one of our values of fairness and how different faiths view fairness. Watch this video. Then think about what fairness means? What about being equal? Does fairness always mean that everyone is equal?
Have a good day!
