The word doxology comes from the Greek doxologia, "praise or glory," a combination of doxa, "glory," and logos, "a speaking.". In the Christian church is it a verse or a song which glorifies God.
In times of trouble and difficulty, those with a faith will often say they need to strength and support of God more than ever. This week is a reflective week in school. We showing respect for others while we honour those whose lives have been affected by war on Remembrance Day. We are also thinking of how we choose respect in anti-bullying week. We give thanks to God that we have the strength to stand up for what is right and good.
