Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to the 2022-2023 Academic Year at St John’s Church of England Primary School. I hope that you and your children have had a lovely break over the Summer.

Back to school dates:

The children return to school this Wednesday- 7^th September- at 8.40am.

The school day finishes at 3.15pm. This year, we are returning to our normal home time routine. Rather than using the playgrounds to release the children, they will be collected from the classroom doors or one of the main exits.

Nursery children are collected from the Nursery door.

Reception are collected from their classroom door.

Year 1 are collected from their classroom door.

Year 2 will both be collected from 2P’s door.

Year 3 and 4 are collected from the main school doors.

Year 5 and 6 are collected from the doors that they go in through in the morning (the main doors between Nursery and Reception).

There will be plenty of staff around at the end of the day to help you find your exits.

Pakistan Floods

We would like to raise money to help those impacted by the terrible floods in Pakistan. We are planning to collect money on the doors on Wednesday morning. If you can afford to, please give your children some money to donate.

Friday 21st October: Black History Day

Friday 21st October: Break up for Half Term at 3.15pm

Friday 16th December: Break up for Christmas holiday at 12.00pm
