Dear Parents/Carers

Due to the current Covid restrictions, we are unable to invite parents into school. We have introduced a new online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with your teacher and you will receive an email confirming your appointment.

We would like to invite you to book up a 5 minute online video call to enable the Teacher to talk to you about your child/ren on 31st March 2021. This can take place in the comfort of your own home using a computer, laptop, i-pad or mobile phone. Please note that the system controls the timed appointments and we recommend you log on 5 minutes before your appointment (to hopefully avoid any technical issues). If you log on late, you will miss your appointment.

Please also note that the teacher has NO CONTROL over the timing of the appointment- it is fully automated. Once the five minute appointment is over, the system will take the teacher out of your meeting and into the next one. They are not able to give you any longer. If there is an issue that takes longer to discuss, they will arrange to see you at a different time.

You will be able to book a appointment with Mrs Ringham  (Miss Black will be available) if you child currently attends the Hub each day, please book these between 4-5.30pm.  For any other children, please book with Mrs Ringham from 5.30pm to 7pm if you have any concerns about special educational needs.

Appointments can be made from 22/03/2021 and will close on 28/03/21. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact the school office.

In order to make video calls you need to have as a minimum:

· a device with a microphone and speaker/headphones

· a compatible up-to-date web browser: iPhone/iPad: Safari Note: there is a known issue joining video calls using iOS 14.2. Please upgrade any iOS 14.2 devices to iOS 14.3, or use an alternate device. We also recommend:

· Using your smartphone for video appointments. If you don't have a smartphone with a front-facing camera, use a laptop or computer with a webcam.

· Using a headset (or earphones with a microphone) to reduce echo.
