"Use your God-given gifts to serve others." 1 Peter 4: 10
Dear Parents,
I know this will horrify some of the children, but you might find it interesting!
PlayStation and Xbox One
It is possible to use both the Sony PlayStation and the Microsoft Xbox One to access the internet and Microsoft Teams.
Both gaming machines can be used like a computer if a mouse and keyboard are attached. (A wired pair can be as little as £10, wireless about £22.)
There have been some excellent instructions on how to do this online:
➢A sway presentation from Ryefield Primary (keep scrolling down the presentation): https://sway.office.com/ka0yFbKLeluli0Wf
➢The TES : https://www.tes.com/news/how-use-xbox-or-playstation-online-learning
How to access online learning on an Xbox:
Plug a keyboard in to the Xbox USB slot
Go to ‘my games and apps’
Find Microsoft Edge and select.
Type in https://login.bgfl365.uk/ and log in as you would in school.
You can then access your work and use key packages including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and emails.
To move around you could use the Xbox controller or plug in a mouse.
How to access online learning on a PlayStation:
Plug a keyboard and mouse into the PlayStation’s USB slots (on the front).
Identify the PlayStation internet browser icon (www with dots around it).
Press the PlayStation logo on the controller.
Go to the library and find options for games and applications
Go into applications and you will find the internet browser
Type in https://login.bgfl365.uk/ and log in as you would in school.
You can then access your work and use key packages including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and emails.
Best wishes,
Mrs Seymour
