Thank you and Goodbye
Dear Parents and Carers; Staff and Children,
The last few days have been overwhelming. The kindness and generosity that you have shown to me- in words, deeds and gifts- has been humbling.
I do not have the words to describe how much I will miss seeing you all every day. Serving this community, and being a part of the St John's School Family has been an honour. I have loved it, and I have loved all of you.
I believe that this school is a special place, and it will continue to be so, after I have left. The curriculum and values here, mean that every opportunity is taken for children to reflect on their own life choices and how their behaviour affects others. Values are taught through collective worship, through curriculum topics, and are part of the ethos of the school. The message that we are all different, but all equal is so important for children to hear, and they will continue to hear it at St John's. Their education is in good hands, but more importantly: so is their character development.
Thank you to all of you- for everything - from the bottom of my heart.
