Dear Parents/ Carers,

Here's a round up of what's going on at St John's School:

1. Parents' Evening

We intend to have a virtual parents' evening using School Cloud on Wednesday 31st March between 4 and 7pm. Further details will follow but the system has been widely used by schools during lockdown with great success.

2. Red Nose Day

Don't forget that children can wear their own clothes tomorrow (Friday 19th). It would be great if you could support the Red Nose Day charity by bringing in £1 or £1.50 per family.

3. Easter Holiday Dates.

The last day of term is Wednesday 31st March. It will be a FULL day.

Children return to school on Tuesday 20th April.

4. Easter Fayre.

Mrs Shah has been working very hard again to make fabulous Easter gifts for children to buy in their classrooms at the end of the day. Sales will open on Wednesday 24th March. Further information will be coming out at the beginning of next week. All proceeds will go to school fund.

5. Nursery Garden Theft.

We discovered yesterday that some of the new Ikea furniture which we had bought for the Nursery children has been stolen from the garden. This is really sad and has upset the staff who have worked so hard to make it a lovely place for the children to be play in. We hope that the money raised in the Easter Fayre will be able to be used to replace it.
