"Use your God-given gifts to serve others." 1 Peter 4: 10
Dear Parents/Carers,
This is a quick update from St John's School.
Remember that children can be picked up from the usual places at 12.00pm tomorrow.
Easter Competition:
We have never had so many entries for the Easter competition. I have just spent two hours with a team of teachers, judging the amazing work! We will announce the winners in collective worship tomorrow morning. There will be a winner and a runner up for Each year group from Reception to Y6, and several special mentions for entries that have stood out for different reasons, such as Teamwork or Creativity. We even have a special mention for use of a comedic pun! Thanks for all the support and encouragement that you have obviously given your children.
Goodbye to Miss King:
As 4K already know, Miss King is getting married over the Easter holiday and is relocating to a different part of the UK. She is therefore leaving St John's School tomorrow. We wish her the very best of luck in her new life. She has been a valued member of our team for several years and we will miss her. We are pleased to announce that Miss Tulloch, a former pupil of St John's School, will be replacing her as 4K's teacher. We are really looking forward to her joining our staff team.
