School closure update
Dear Parents,
I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.
Thank you so much for all the supportive messages I have received about the staff who have caught Covid-19. I always talk about St John's being like a family, and it is at times of difficulty that you most see it in action. I will pass on your good wishes to all the staff.
As you know, the school was closed today due to a positive result that came in late last night. I have received advice from Public Health England and they have been very reassuring. I am glad to say that the impact of the result on the children is very limited. However, we are going to remain closed tomorrow for a deep clean to take place.
School will reopen to critical workers' children and vulnerable children on Monday 25th January.
Education will continue remotely tomorrow for all children.
