Dear Parents,
Following my email yesterday about the role of a Parent Governor, please see the information about the Expression of Interest Form.
If you would like to put yourself forward for the role, you will need to fill this form in. You can do this in two ways:
1. Print it off the email I sent on 12/10/22 and write on it by hand, then give it in to the School Office
2. Fill it in electronically and email it to enquiry@st-johns-pri.bham.sch.uk
If you cannot print the document, please come and get one from the school office.
All parents are able to apply for this role and must return their expressions of interest by Friday 28th October.
Important Information about Next Steps:
After half term, the names of the candidates and their answers to answers to questions 1, 2 and 3 on the expressions of interest forms, will be shared with the parent body, and ballot papers will be sent home with children. The vote will then take place over a number of days.
To be clear: If you fill in the form, your personal details (address, phone number, etc) will not be shared with all parents, but we have to ask for this information to ensure you are eligible to apply for the role. All governors are also subject to other suitability checks, such as a DBS check, to ensure that we comply with safeguarding regulations.
