Our new SENDCo
I am writing to introduce you to our new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo).
Mrs Atkins is replacing Mrs Ringham, and starts with us on Monday. She will be outside the main gates with us in the mornings, so if you want to meet her, do come and say hello. If your child has SEND, she will be contacting you to introduce herself over the next few weeks.
Mrs Atkins is joining us as an Assistant Headteacher. She has many years of teaching experience in both mainstream and special schools, and I am certain that she will continue Mrs Ringham's excellent work.
Mrs Ringham will also be in school on Monday, ensuring Mrs Atkins has a careful handover of policies and procedures at St John's.
