"Use your God-given gifts to serve others." 1 Peter 4: 10
9th Nov 2020
Dear Parents/ Carers,
I hope this email finds you safe and well. I have been concerned for a long time about our home time collection arrangements. Although using the playgrounds is less crowded than it would have been when we all collected from the front of the school, I still don't feel that it is distanced enough. We have thought long and hard about how to spread the collection out better whilst allowing those of you with several children to not have to wait around in between pick-ups.
We are going to try something different from WEDNESDAY 11th NOVEMBER. Please read the details below:
At 3 o'clock the following year groups will be collected:
YEAR 6- from the bottom gate at the end of the playgrounds where they are currently collected
YEAR 5- also from the bottom gate where Y6 are collected.
YEAR 2- at the back gates/exit from 2B where they are currently collected.
At 3.15pm the following year groups will be collected:
YEAR 3: from the back gate (by the back of the leisure centre)
YEAR 4: from the hall exit
Year 1 and Reception: from the front of school as they are currently, although we will be using different doors to spread out the lines of parents.
I will send another email out tomorrow with photographs for you, so that you can see exactly where to go to collect your children on Wednesday.
I hope that this will help you to feel safer at home time. We will review the new system in a couple of weeks.
Best wishes,
Mrs Seymour
