"Use your God-given gifts to serve others." 1 Peter 4: 10
Dear Parents/ Carers,
In collective worship this morning, the children learned about the Commonwealth Games being held in Birmingham later this year. We have launched a competition to celebrate. There are three age categories and each will have a winner and a runner up:
Early Years (Nursery/ Reception)
Lower School (Years 1, 2 and 3)
Upper School (Years 4, 5 and 6)
Children can either:
- create something to celebrate Birmingham as the host for the Commonwealth Games or to celebrate the mascot- Perry the Bull. This can be anything creative, including drawings, paintings, model-making, sewing, poetry, etc.
OR
- Research a Commonwealth country and present your findings as a poster
The entries must be in by next Monday 28th March. The prizes will be given out by Perry the Bull when he visits us next Tuesday.
Best wishes,
Mrs Seymour
