Week 26.1.26 Schindler's List
Holocaust Memorial Day is a national day that takes place on 27 January. It commemorates the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions more murdered under Nazi persecution.
Schindler's List Theme - John Williams
Oskar Schindler was a German businessman. He helped save the lives of more than 1,000 Jews during the Holocaust of World War II (1939–45). He was a very courageous man who put himself in a very dangerous position in order to protect the lives of others. Steven Spielberg made a film about him in 1993 called 'Schindler's List'. This piece of music is taken from the film soundtrack which is also composed by John Williams.
