  • Feeling Good - Muse 2.1.23

It is a new year and a new start. Some people use these couple of weeks in January to set themselves New Year’s Resolutions. These are goals and targets you want to set yourself.

The song ‘I’m feeling good’, is from a 1960s musical called The Roar of the Greasepaint, the Smell of the Crowd’. The song is about feeling free after having experienced oppression and is sung by a character who has faced racist taunts.

The song has been covered by many artists and the lyrics are often used as inspiration for when you want to make a new start in life. This version is by Muse (a favourite band of Mrs Seymour!) who are an English rock band.

    It's a new dawn
    It's a new day
    It's a new life
    For me
    And I'm feeling good
    I'm feeling good
