Makaton songs we have learnt so far

Here are a few new ones for this week:

Change and grow This song has such a strong message - especially for those children that are leaving us and starting the next part of their journey.

Brighter day tomorrow This song is a positive song which celebrates the joy of living. I love the lines 'There's no telling what a difference we can make. The world's waiting for the colours we've yet to make'

Summer holiday Here is a Makaton signed song which might get you in the mood for your summer holiday - even if it ends up in your back garden or your local park!

You are everything This is a fun song. See if you can copy the vocal patterns with your voice.

Music to listen to

All of the music we have covered all year is now on the website. Explore this page to enjoy the range of music we have managed to cover: Music to listen to

I don't want to put on lots of goodbye and farewell music to make you cry so instead,I want you to listen from some absolutely brilliant songs from Matilda the musical. It is based on the story by Roald Dahl but the music and lyrics are written by Tim Minchin. He has a great sense of humour and the words in the songs are superb.
