Paul Gaugin was a French artist. When he was very young though, he grew up in Peru and he grew interested in travelling off to exotic and interested places. He spent some time in Tahiti where he painted this picture of the Nativity. You can see Mary holding the baby. Who do you think the person in green in standing next to her?
