To practise using non-finite clauses
We will revise main and subordinate clauses then learn about using non-finite clauses in our sentences.
Add non-finite clauses to the beginning of the three sentences shown at the end of the video.
Complete work on paper or BGFL and hand in.

Ible/able spelling test
In this lesson, we will practise and apply the spelling rules for the suffixes -able and -ible, spotting how they differ. We will use a spelling strategy to practise and apply the rules, and we will complete a spelling test.

During this half term, we are going to look at Humanism. We will introduce some key beliefs that Humanists hold. These include where humans come from and the qualities that make humans special. We will learn the terms theism, atheism and agnosticism and relate these to Humanist beliefs.

To use verbs and adverbs to describe a setting
In this lesson, you will identify verbs and adverbs and then match appropriate verbs and adverbs.
Write down at least 3 sentences containing noun, verb, adverbs based on the picture from ‘The Viewer.’
Extra challenge – include some subordinate clauses in 2 of your sentences.
You will need a pencil and paper for this lesson. Save your work on BGFL or take a photo of your work.
You must have a minimum of 3 sentences.
