The username and password for Espresso is under the files section on Teams. If you can't log on, email your teacher or school.

Write down the key words, to help you remember the simple steps.

    You will need:

    - a bowl

    - some water

    - a needle

    - a magnet (you might have magnetic alphabet letters or a magnet on your fridge)

    - a piece of cork

In English, we are then going to write instructions on how to make a compass.

    RE

On the 14th November it is Diwali.

Watch these videos to learn about Diwali.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/z787tfr

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zmwmpv4

On Jit5, make a poster, answering the questions:

    What does Diwali mean?

    Who celebrates Diwali?

What sorts of things do people do during Diwali?

Can you think of any similar things you do at a special time of year?

Now watch the story of Rama and Sita

Make two puppets - colour them in or make your own. You could stick them to a pencil or a stick and retell the story.

Now retell the story by writing it - use these pictures to help you.

The Espresso login deatils are saved in the Files section in teams. If you can't find them, email your teacher or the school.

What does Remembrance Day mean to people? Make some notes - can you write down any key words to do with Remembrance Day?

Colour one of these poppy in different shades of red. Or you could collage (cut small bits of paper and stick them on) with different coloured red and pink paper. Then on top of your colouring, write down all the key words you found in the videos, like HOPE, NEVER FORGET, KINDNESS.

Cut the poppy out and display it somewhere.
