Rodrigo y Gabriela are a Mexican guitar duo that play instrumental acoustic music. They were formed in 2006 by musicians Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero. Rodrigo is in charge of the solos while Gabriela provides the rhythm section. They both play and use the guitar as a percussion instrument.
