Easter Activities

Hello lovely Reception!

It's the Easter holidays!!

Here are some ideas of some Easter activities you could do at home over the holidays.

Take care, stay safe and have fun.

The Reception Teamheart

Draw or paint a picture

The new NEC NHS Nightingale Field hospital are asking for children to send in their drawings and paintings to create a thank you wall for the NHS.

Simply draw or paint a rainbow or an Easter egg and stick on a window in your home. So anyone out getting their daily exercise can have fun spotting them in your window.

Go on an Easter egg hunt

Draw or paint Easter eggs, cut them out and hide them around the house.

Then have fun with your family going on an egg hunt.

Have an egg and spoon race

..if you are lucky enough to have eggs in your home at the moment.

Alternative options could be..oranges, potatoes and less mess! You're welcome!

Plant some seeds/bulbs and watch them grow or help an adult in the garden

Easter cooking/baking

Help an adult to cook dinner or bake a cake or make super simple chocolate nests.

You can also use cereal such as cornflakes/frosties/rice crispies.

They look just as good and all taste delicious.

Junk Modelling

For example you could use a toilet roll to make an Easter bunny.
